Context

This project was carried out as part of my internship at BioMérieux, in the Cybersecurity team. The purpose of this project was to improve the security of the machines and servers in the R&D domain.

Actions

• R&D Cartography: I defined the scope of the R&D and its cartography. I created a cartography of the R&D domain, listing all the machines and servers, their operating systems, their roles, and their security level.
• Benchmark: I benchmarked the different solutions available on the market to secure endpoints and servers.
• Pilot: I piloted the deployment of the chosen solution (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint) on a limited number of machines and servers.
• Communication: I communicated with the concerned users to explain the purpose of the project and the new tool that was going to be deployed.

Results

At the end of the internship, the solution was deployed on a limited number of machines and servers. The solution was also deployed on the machines and servers of the R&D domain. The solution is now being deployed on the machines and servers of the entier company.
